This course is suitable for any students who would like to explore their experiences of and attitudes towards change. Change is a constant in life, and finding ways to manage it better, gain confidence in doing so, and develop strategies can be helpful for life in general. This can alleviate anxiety around change, encourage a flexible attitude and encourage students to recognise and appreciate their own abilities and experience in this area. Carers and professionals supporting individuals who are dealing and perhaps struggling with change can also benefit from the course.

Recovery from mental illness often involves change, as individuals begin to extend their activities and challenge themselves again after a period of being unwell. Feeling equipped and confident to do so will hopefully support recovery.
